Discover & Go
Discover & Go is a special service that provides free and discount museum passes to library patrons. Passes can be reserved and printed online via the Discover & Go website. Museums include the Exploratorium, the Asian Art Museum, the Legion of Honor, the Oakland Museum of California, and many more.
Eligibility: Marin County residents with any MARINet library card and PIN
What's available: Free and discount passes to Bay Area museums
Note: Each museum sets a monthly limit on the number of passes available to library users. If a pass is not available in a particular month, try the following month!
The de Young Museum and Legion of Honor
Sausalito residents are entitled to receive one ticket per year to the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Each ticket admits one person for general admission at the de Young or the Legion of Honor. There is a separate admission cost for special exhibits.
Please request your ticket at the Library information desk.
Eligibility: Sausalito residents with a MARINet library card.

Bay Area Discovery Museum
The Library lends out membership passes to the Bay Area Discovery Museum. One general admission pass admits "one household," i.e. two adults and and all children. The Library's two passes are available on a first come, first served basis and can be checked out for 3 days.
Eligibility: Adult Marin County residents with a MARINet library card

California State Parks Vehicle Day Pass
Thanks to a new program from the California State Library, the Sausalito Library has California State Parks vehicle day passes available to the public. The passes provide free vehicle admission and parking to over 200 state parks, beaches and recreation areas, including area parks like Mount Tamalpais, China Camp, and Samuel P. Taylor.
Passes circulate for up to 3 weeks and are not renewable.
Eligibility: Any patron with a MARINet library card
