Sausalito Library Closed to the Public

  • Marin County residents have been directed to shelter at home until at least April 7, 2020, in accordance with a public health order from Marin Health and Human Services that went into effect on March 17
  • In accordance with the order, the Sausalito Library is currently closed to the public
  • We are waiving overdue fines on Sausalito Library books and other materials and encouraging patrons to keep their materials at home
  • We are extending due dates for all materials
  • Book drops have been closed
  • Sausalito residents are encouraged to take advantage of the library's digital collections of e-books, e-audiobooks, and streaming video, all of which will remain available
  • Updates on other City services may be found at sausalito.gov/coronavirus
  • Staff will be available at the circulation and reference desks to answer questions about your library account or provide assistance with digital resources, Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m. at 415-289-4121.

Please note that the Friends of the Library have also made the decision to temporarily close the Friends Bookstore on the upper level of City Hall.
